The Wing Assignment is an Arts Project open to Artists of all disciplines. The assignment is to create an artwork inspired by or using a birds wing.

All artworks will feature on this tumblr site, facebook and www.thewingassignment.com There will be an exhibition of selected works in London at the end of 2012. The first twenty Artist were sent there Wing Packages in Nov 2011, the next twenty artists will be sent their invitations by 14 Feb 2012. The Wing Assignment is currently by invitation only, however, if you would like to participate, please email info@thewingassignment.com with samples of your work for consideration. There is a participation fee visit participate on www.thewingassignment.com for more info. UK Artists have the option of receiving a real birds wing, all wings are by-products. Oversea Artists will recieve a high res scan of a wing to work from.
