Title: Winged Landscapes
‘I’m interested in the miniscule as landscape. A bird’s wing becomes a vista in itself. Down feather becomes fern trailing down bone rachis gullies and ravines of vane.‘
‘I see the bird as an intimate part of our landscape and lives and find it interesting and useful to explore this relationship from different perspectives. I am constantly amazed by the beautiful mirroring that happens in nature.’
Clive Nolan studied Digital Art at Thames Valley University in the late 1990’s and, more recently, for an M.A in Documentary Photography at the University Of Wales, Newport. In another, related, photographic life he is a wedding and portrait photographer.
